The now President of the United States, has made it one of his biggest campaign promises to see to it that Obamacare be repealed. So far, all of Congress’s attempt to pass a bill to repeal the ACA have fallen short and failed. Now leaving all of the Americans struggling with the financial burdens imposed by the previous President, Barrack Obama.
However, There is FINALLY some good news.
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) just revealed that Trump is tired of waiting for Congress, and has decided to take matters into his own hands. With that being said, President Trump may take executive action that will allow organizations to offer more affordable insurance plans.
Kentucky Senator, Rand Paul, has announced to reporters that the President is considering taking executive actions to handle the Obamacare issue after Senator John McCain foiled the attempt to pass a bill that would potentially repeal Obamacare.
This would involve allowing groups like AARP, which represents retirees, to integrate, allowing individuals and small businesses to negotiate with health insurance providers for lower premiums in the same way trade unions negotiate with employers.
“Can you imagine the leverage you would get for drug prices and insurance prices if you were negotiating for 5 million people?” said Paul. “If you could legalize that, not only could it fix some of the problems that we are encountering in the individual market, there’s 28 million people without insurance because it’s too expensive. What if we forced the price down enough?”
Also, Trump has the chance to reform Medicaid by approving state waivers, giving ways to reduce the cost of monthly premiums through allowing states to implement work requirements and drug testing, Conservative Fighters reports.
The President has also been putting pressure on Congress to go through on their commitments after a long 7 years. He said, “If a new HealthCare Bill is not approved quickly, BAILOUTS for Insurance Companies and BAILOUTS for Members of Congress will end very soon!”
While some critics say that the deicion will possibly hurt individual state’s ability to regulate health coverage and combat fraud, Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price has made it clear in his drive to see Obamacare repealed.

“Talk to the families that are making $50,000 a year and have an insurance card through Obamacare but they don’t have any care because they can’t afford the deductible,” Price stated. “This is a system that is imploding and has failed the American people. That’s where the president’s passion comes from.”
